Bicyclist killed in collision involving trash truck on Broadway Street
HOUSTON, TX- A bicyclist was injured and subsequently pronounced dead due to a collision involving a vehicle on Broadway Street on Saturday, according to Houston Incident Reporting.
At approximately 6:40am, a garbage truck heading northbound and making a turn struck a bicyclist near the 8900 block of Broadway Street. The driver stopped and called officials, and the bicyclist was transported to an area hospital where they were later pronounced deceased. The driver was not impaired.
