Big rig involved in multi-vehicle wreck on I-69 NB near Gulfton
HOUSTON, TX — A multi-vehicle crash Friday morning closed three lanes on Interstate Highway 69 in the Gulfton area of southwest Houston, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident impacted the inbound lanes near Exit 122 to Chimney Rock Road. It was verified by officials at 10:26 a.m.
No information regarding the nature of the wreck has been provided, but three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, were involved.
The right shoulder, right lane, and two center lanes of I-69 northbound were closed for nearly an hour, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
By 11:22 a.m., crews had cleared the vehicles from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
