BMW driver collides with patrol car, electric vehicle near Westgate Business Park
HOUSTON, TX – A police officer and two others were hurt when a BMW driver collided with a patrol car and an electric vehicle on I-10 near Greenhouse Rd on Sunday, according to KTRK.
An electric vehicle ran out of battery and was stopped in traffic when an officer came and blocked their vehicle until a tow truck could arrive.
The driver of a BMW exited I-10 and collided with the patrol car and an electric vehicle.
Rescue crews transported the officer to an area hospital with a gash to his head and took the two occupants of the electric vehicle to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities do not believe the BMW driver was impaired.
