Burning semitruck slows traffic on I-45 N
HOUSTON, TX- A single vehicle 18 wheeler accident on I-45 N caused traffic delays for early morning commuters on Feb. 14th, Click2Houston reports.
No information was provided regarding the cause of the accident. It was reported to have occurred around 12:30p.m. near Tidwell Road and took several hours to clear.
Although some traffic was seen in video footage to be passing by the site, the center lane, two frontage road lanes, right shoulder, right lane, and exit ramp were all impacted.
The roadways were opened back up completely later that afternoon. However, in the meantime, hazmat crews and fire trucks were seen at the location working to stop the fire and clean up the area.
It is unclear at this time if any injuries were sustained by those involved in the accident.
