Car crashes into building near Durham and Eigel, killing driver

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died Tuesday after crashing into a building on Durham Drive just south of the interstate, reports Click 2 Houston.

Around 1 a.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Durham and Eigel in Houston Heights.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a female driver lost control of her vehicle shortly before hitting the building in the 1600 block of Durham Avenue.

The driver, who has not yet been identified by authorities, succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the accident.
