Cat dead, 4 people displaced after house fire in north Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A house fire in north Austin led to the death of a cat and the displacement of four people yesterday, according to KXAN.
The incident occurred at 8907 Pointer Lane, near U.S. Highway 183 and W Rundberg Lane, at about 5:30 p.m., when a motorcycle caught fire in a garage.
Despite attempts to resuscitate the pet, a cat was pronounced dead.
Four adults were displaced as a result of the blaze.
The fire was determined to be an accident.
