Constables investigate deadly cement truck crash in northwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office is investigating a cement truck crash that left one person injured and another person dead on Beltway 8 near Bammel N Houston Rd on Tuesday, according to Click 2 Houston.
The cement truck driver went off the side of the Beltway and landed on the feeder road under it.
First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene and transported another to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Crews shut down three frontage road lanes to clear the scene, causing major traffic delays.
