Crash at Gulf Fwy and FM 2351 injures 2 firefighters, 1 other
HOUSTON, TX – Three people were hurt early Saturday in a two-vehicle collision involving a fire truck in southeast Houston, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred around midnight on I-45, or the Gulf Freeway, near FM 2351, or Clear Lake City Boulevard, in the Bay Knoll area.
Police say that a driver was travelling at a high rate of speed when they crashed into a parked fire truck.
Medics transported two firefighters and the driver that caused the crash to an area hospital. The driver that caused the accident sustained critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine if alcohol may have played a role in the collision.
