Crews respond to fatality crash on I-10 NB in Beaumont
BEAUMONT, TX – A two-vehicle collision along the interstate in Beaumont claimed two lives Tuesday night, reports 12 News.
Shortly after 10 p.m., emergency crews responded to the northbound side of I-10 near Harrison Avenue, which is just northeast of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the crash.
They say that two people succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported one other person to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials closed the northbound side of I-10 for around four hours while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
