Crews respond to head-on crash near Spring Stuebner, Spring Plaza
SPRING, TX – Emergency teams were called to a wrong-way collision along a major roadway in north-central Harris County on Wednesday, reports Click 2 Houston.
The accident occurred sometime before 2:30 p.m. on Spring Stuebner Road between Holzwarth Road and the North Freeway in Spring, which is around 24 miles northwest of Houston.
Police say that a sedan and a pickup truck hauling an SUV collided head on, entrapping at least one person in their vehicle.
It’s not yet clear how many people were hurt and if any of them required hospitalization. Additionally, police are still working to determine which driver caused the crash.
Officials closed the westbound side of Spring Stuebner while teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
