Crews respond to semi crash on I-45 NB in League City

LEAGUE CITY, TX – A two-vehicle crash involving a semi caused significant delays along the Gulf Freeway in the southeast suburbs Tuesday.

According to Fox 26, the accident happened before noon on I-45 northbound near League City Parkway in League City.

While details regarding the circumstances of the collision remain limited, police say that an 18-wheeler and a Ford F-150 were involved.

Authorities haven’t yet commented on injuries or fatalities.

The accident blocked all but one northbound lane of the Gulf Freeway while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked at the scene.
