Deadly accident reported on Beechnut St
HOUSTON, TX – A deadly single-vehicle collision was reported on the 13900 block of Beechnut St on Friday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Kehinde Abimbola was driving a 2008 Lexus IS 250 west on Beechnut St when he failed to drive in a single lane and rotated counterclockwise across the inside lane before striking the curb and a tree around 1:13 a.m.
Abimbol’s Lexus continued to spin and entered the grassy median, where it rolled over on its passenger side and came to rest on a tree.
Rescue crews pronounced Abimbola dead at the scene.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
