Deputies investigate fatal single-vehicle crash on FM 1960 E in Huffman

HUFFMAN, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a man died in a single-vehicle collision on the 13400 block of FM 1960 E on Wednesday.

Dominick Williams was driving a 2019 Dodge Challenger at high speeds west on FM 1960 E when he passed a vehicle and re-entered the westbound lanes around 6:19 p.m. Williams then strayed off the road and slammed into a metal end terminal.

The collision caused William’s car to spin counter-clockwise west across a grass ditch north of the roadway. He then hit an embankment and went airborne while continuing to spin before crashing into a utility pole. Williams was ejected from the Challenger during the crash.

First responders transported Williams to an area hospital, where he died.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
