Deputy hurt in e-bike collision in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a deputy was injured in an e-bike collision on West Dallas Street Sunday night.

An off-duty deputy was riding an e-bike when he was cut off by another vehicle while making a left turn at around 9 p.m.

The deputy lost control of the e-bike and crashed, becoming pinned underneath it.

Bystanders lifted the e-bike off the man.

First responders transported the man to an area hospital, where his current condition remains unknown.
