HOUSTON, TX – A single-vehicle crash early Sunday in north Houston’s Greater Greenspoint area claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman, reports the Houston Police Department.
The fatal collision occurred in the 11700 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road, at around 4:20 a.m.
According to investigators, the woman was operating a white Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on the road when, for reasons still unclear, she lost control of the vehicle. The pickup then veered off the roadway and collided with a power pole.
