Driver dies, passenger is hospitalized in single vehicle crash on SW Freeway
HOUSTON, TX- A driver died and his passenger went to a hospital after their vehicle struck a ramp and a concrete barrier on Jan. 29th on the SW Freeway, the HPD reports.
The black Nissan crashed at 5500 Southwest Freeway around 12:55a.m. while driving west. The structures were hit near the exit ramp of Fountain View Drive.
The deceased victim was around 45 years-old. His identity is pending verification.
The passenger’s injuries were not serious.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
