Driver fatally collide with pedestrian on FM 2100 in Huffman
HUFFMAN, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver struck and killed a woman on the 14500 block of FM 2100 on Monday.
Kathleen Wheeler was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe south in the center turn lane when she hit Gloria Rouse around 7:17 p.m.
First responders airlifted Rouse to an area hospital, where she died at 8:10 p.m.
Following the collision, Wheeler stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. She did not display signs of impairment.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
