Driver fatally collides with 2 pedestrians in Georgetown Colony

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A driver struck two pedestrians, killing one of them and injuring the other on Addicks Satsuma Rd near Langham Creek on Wednesday, according to KHOU.

Yusdenis Llano, 39, was allegedly driving a Kia Sorento around 2 a.m. when he hit a man and his girlfriend as they were walking. Llano then reportedly fled the scene.

First responders found the man in a nearby ditch and pronounced him dead at the scene. They transported the woman to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities used a camera system to identify the suspect’s vehicle and its license plate. They located the Sorento and took Llano into custody. Llano gave a full confession to authorities and was charged with failure to stop and render aid.

Impairment is not thought to be a factor in the collision.
