Driver fatally collides with pedestrian near Mid West
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a driver struck and killed a male pedestrian at Westheimer Rd and Greenridge Dr on Sunday.
An SUV driver was heading west on Westheimer Rd when they hit the victim as he was crossing the street.
Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Authorities do not believe impairment played a role in the incident.
