Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on Bissonnet St
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on the 7400 block of Bissonnet St on Wednesday.
The driver was heading east on Bissonnet St when they struck the pedestrian as the pedestrian was walking across the street towards an apartment complex around 9:45 p.m. The driver continued driving for multiple blocks before calling 911.
Authorities do believe the driver was impaired. They may charge the driver with “failure to stop and render aid” because they did not stop and stay near the victim after the collision.
