Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on East Fwy
HOUSTON, TX – A driver struck and killed a man in his mid-30s on the East Fwy near Federal Rd on Saturday, according to Click 2 Houston.
A female driver hit the victim, who was standing in the middle lane of the freeway, around 12:15 a.m.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene.
Another driver then slammed into the woman’s car. Rescue crews transported all six people from that car and the woman who hit the man to area hospitals.
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
It is unclear why the pedestrian was on the freeway.
