Driver fatally collides with stalled vehicle on US 290 near Telge Rd
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to KTRK, a woman died in a 2-vehicle collision on US 290 near Telge Rd on Thursday.
A woman was in a stalled vehicle when a pickup truck driver collided with the rear of her vehicle around 5:47 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
Crews shut down the eastbound lanes of US 290 to clear the scene and investigate the incident. This caused a traffic jam in the area. The highway was reopened at 9:28 a.m.
