Driver fatally collides with tree near Hobby Airport

HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a driver died after plowing into a tree near Clearwood Dr and Hollock St on Friday.

The driver crashed into a tree around 2:30 a.m. The car then caught fire.

First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the vehicle.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
