Driver fatally crashes into light pole in southwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a driver died after they slammed into a light pole on TX 8 SB near Bellaire Blvd WB on Monday night.
A man was driving when he lost control of his car and plowed into a light pole around 9:30 p.m.
First responders extricated the driver and his passenger from the car and transported them to area hospitals, where the driver died. The passenger remains in stable condition.
The HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident. They belive wet roads may have been a factor in the collision.
