Driver fatally runs over pedestrian in northwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, a driver struck and killed a man near the Northwest Fwy and W 34th St on Thursday.
The 32-year-old victim was crossing the street when he fell and was run over by a white Chevrolet Malibu driver around 2 a.m. The man died in the collision.
Authorities are working to collect surveillance video from area businesses. They are looking for a vehicle with front-end damage and blood on its underside.
When located, the driver could be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
