Driver flees after head-on crash in NW San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A teen driver attempted to flee the scene after a head-on collision in northwest Houston left a woman seriously injured on Thursday night.
According to KSAT, the incident occurred at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of De Zavala Road and Vance Jackson Road.
Investigators say a black sedan and a white Dodge Charger collided head-on while the sedan was in the turning lane.
The sedan’s driver, a woman in her 30s, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Dodge, an unidentified teen, attempted to flee on foot but was caught a short time later. It is unclear what charges they will face.
