Driver injured in crash with box truck on I-45 near Spring
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A fiery collision between a van and a box truck Tuesday morning near Spring’s Northgate Crossing area left one person injured, reports Click2Houston.
Spring Fire officials say the accident occurred on Interstate 45 near the Grand Parkway. It was first reported by the department at 8:42 a.m., after crews had already arrived on the scene and transported one person to the hospital.
While the circumstances of the crash have not been shared, a van and a box truck collided, sparking flames and leaving the driver of the van trapped in the wreckage.
Authorities have not disclosed the victim’s condition or confirmed any pending charges.
