Driver, motorcyclist dies following wreck near Astrodome Area
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Houston Police Department, a driver and a motorcyclist died following a crash on the 1100 block of South Loop West on March 19.
A Nissan Sentra driver was speeding east on South Loop West right before the entrance ramp to Texas 288 when they hit a 38-year-old man riding a silver Harley Davidson in the median between the exit lanes and the main lanes of South Loop West around 1:05 a.m.
First responders pronounced the driver and motorcyclist dead at the scene. They transported a 34-year-old woman from the Nissan to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
