Driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Cranbrook Augusta
HOUSTON, TX – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on the 16500 block of the North Freeway southbound Saturday night, according to Click 2 Houston.
The driver hit a man attempting to cross the road around 10 p.m. The man died in the collision. The driver turned around and called 911.
A few hours later, Leslie King, 51, struck a patrol car that was blocking the scene around 1 a.m.
First responders transported the two Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies to an area hospital as a precaution.
King was hospitalized with minor injuries. He may face DWI charges once he’s released.
