Driver suffers serious injuries from single-vehicle crash in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A single-vehicle crash on Ed Bluestein Blvd left a driver seriously injured before 2 am Saturday, according to CBS Austin.
For some unknown reason, a driver was traveling on Ed Bluestein Blvd when they slammed into a pole. The impact of the crash left the driver trapped. However, thanks to aid from Austin-Travis County EMS, the driver was able to escape.
The driver suffered significant injuries and was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center. The current condition of the driver is unknown.
Police did not state if impairment was a factor in Saturday’s crash or release the driver’s identity.
