EMS crews called after hit-and-run on Hardy St in Ryon area
HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision was reported Friday afternoon in Houston’s Ryon neighborhood, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The incident was reported at 2801 Hardy Street, near Luzon Street. Dispatchers first received the call at about 2:38 p.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but Houston police and Fire Department crews both responded to the scene. Officials indicated a “major” crash that resulted in an “EMS event.”
At least one of the involved parties failed to stop and render aid (“FSRA”).
As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed the number of people injured in the event. A description of the fleeing suspect/vehicle also has not been released.
