EMS crews dispatched to serious wreck on Westheimer Rd in west Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Houston Police and Fire Department crews responded to a collision Friday afternoon on Westheimer Road in Houston’s Mid-West neighborhood, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported at 9655 Westheimer Road, near the intersection with Gessner Road. Dispatchers first received the call at around 1:25 p.m.
Very few details have been made available at this time, but officials indicated a “major” collision that resulted in an “EMS event,” suggesting injuries.
It’s unclear exactly how many people were hurt and how badly, but the event was listed as “non fatal.”
