EMS crews respond to child cyclist hit by vehicle on Grant Rd in NW Houston
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A child received medical attention Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in northwest Houston, reports KHOU11.
Authorities were called to the scene on Grant Road at Canyon Rose Lane, west of State Route 249. It was first reported by the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office shortly after 7:00 a.m.
The circumstances of the event remain unclear, preliminary details indicate the child was traveling on a bike when they were hit by a white Ford SUV.
EMS personnel tended to the victim at the scene, but as of this writing, the extent of the patient’s injuries has not been disclosed.
No information on the driver has been made available.
