EMS crews respond to crash on Hempstead Rd in NW Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were dispatched to a collision Friday afternoon in northwest Houston’s Carverdale neighborhood, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported at 14699 Hempstead Road, near the intersection with Gessner Road. Houston Police Department officers, Houston Fire Department crews, and EMS personnel were all called to the scene at around 2:00 p.m.
While the circumstances have not been specified, dispatchers described the incident as a “major” crash resulting in an “EMS event.”
At this time, local agencies have not disclosed the conditions of those involved, but no fatalities were immediately reported.
