EMS crews respond to crash on South Fwy in SW Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Multiple agencies were called to a collision late Thursday morning on the South Freeway in southwest Houston, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported on the inbound lanes at 6055 South Freeway (State Highway 288), near North MacGregor Way. Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel were called to the scene shortly after 11:45 a.m.
While the circumstances of the crash were not specified, dispatchers described the incident as a “major” crash that resulted in an “EMS event.”
Neither the Houston Police Department or the Houston Fire Department has not disclosed the conditions of those involved, but the event was listed as a “non fatal” crash.
