EMS crews respond to hit-and-run on Greylog Dr in SE Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision was reported early Friday afternoon in southeast Houston’s South Acres/Crestmont Park area, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The incident took place at 5319 Greylog Drive, near Rockford Drive, in a residential neighborhood. Houston Police and Houston Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances of the event, but dispatchers identified the “major”crash as “FSRA,” in which one involved party failed to stop and render aid to the other.
No information on the condition of the victims has been released, but the collision was also reported as an “EMS event,” suggesting injuries.
At this time, the Houston Police Department has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
