EMS crews respond to major crash on Dixie Farm Rd in SE Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Multiple agencies were called to a collision Wednesday afternoon in southeast Houston’s Southbelt/Ellington area, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported at 1799 Dixie Farm Road (Farm to Market Road 1959), in an area just east of San Jacinto College South. Houston police, fire department crews, and EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Although the circumstances have not been specified, the incident was described as a “major” collision that resulted in an “EMS event.”
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but Houston Police listed the event as “non fatal.”
