Fatal semi-truck crash reported on US 59 in Porter

PORTER, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, one person is dead following a semi-truck wreck at US 59 NB and FM 1314 on Thursday.

The accident occurred around 12:07 p.m. It caused a fire in the middle of the road.

Emergency crews shut down the area to process the wreck.

Officials have not released the victim’s name or information on what caused the incident.
