Girl, 10, hospitalized after e-scooter-vehicle collision in Houston’s North Spring area

HOUSTON, TX – A 10-year-old girl had to go to a hospital following an e-scooter and vehicle collision in the North Spring neighborhood on Tuesday, ABC13 said.

Preliminary details from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office reveal that the 10-year-old girl, who rode an electric scooter, reportedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of Lincolns Meadow Drive and Dukes Run Drive before she was struck by a vehicle.

The 10-year-old girl suffered uncontrollable bleeding, and deputies put a tourniquet on her before EMS arrived and rushed her to the hospital.

Police closed a portion of Lincolns Meadow Drive for the on-scene clean-up process before reopening all lanes.
