Heavy truck involved in multi-vehicle wreck on I-610 near Northside Village
HOUSTON, TX — Three vehicles, including a heavy truck, were involved in a crash Monday morning on Interstate 610 near Houston’s Northside Village, reports Click2Houston.
The accident happened on the westbound side of I-610, impacting several lanes at Irvington Boulevard. It was first reported at around 10:11 a.m.
Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the wreck, but the truck lost its load on the roadway. It’s unclear whether that incident led to the crash or if the load was lost during the crash.
At this time, no information regarding potential injuries has been made available.
Motorists were urged to avoid the scene and find alternate routes, as multiple westbound lanes in the area were closed during the response.
