Heavy truck rollover collision closes SH 36 in Orchard 

ORCHARD, TX – Officials had to close State Highway 36 and FM 1489 in Orchard due to a heavy truck rollover collision on Wednesday.

According to Click2Houston, it appears the truck overturned and spilled some sand, blocking the entire roadway.

A Facebook post from Fort Bend County Precinct 1’s Constable Office revealed that by 4:35 p.m., officials reopened FM 1489, while State Highway 36 remained closed.

Authorities have not specified what led to the truck rollover collision or said whether anyone was injured.
