Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with man in wheelchair in Pasadena
PASADENA, TX – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man in a wheelchair near Southmore Ave and Shaver St on Thursday, according to KHOU.
The driver of a dark-colored pickup truck hit Erasmo Perez around 6:09 a.m.
Following the collision, the suspect fled the scene.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the crash to contact them.
The Pasadena Police Department is investigating the incident.
