Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with man near West Hampton Estates
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a male pedestrian at Westheimer Rd and S Dairy Ashford Rd on Monday.
The driver of a dark-colored SUV was heading east when they hit the victim as he was crossing the street in a crosswalk around 1 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the collision to contact them.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident.
