Hit-and-run driver in fatal crash on Bissonnet at large
HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was fatally struck Thursday night by a hit-and-run driver in the Southampton area, reports abc 13.
The accident occurred on Bissonnet Street near the intersection of Morningside Drive, which is south of I-69 and north of Rice Village.
Police say that victim was standing in or near Bissonnet when they were hit.
The 57-year-old pedestrian died at the scene; they’ve not yet been identified by police.
The driver involved in the crash did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.
