Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures woman near St. George Place
HOUSTON, TX – According to KTRK, a woman is recovering in the hospital after a hit-and-run driver struck her at Westheimer Rd and Sage Rd on Sept. 5.
Dania Zaheer was crossing the street when a driver hit her around 8 a.m. The driver then fled the scene.
Paramedics transported Zaheer to an area hospital, where she has been since the incident. She suffered at least six broken bones in the collision.
Authorities have a witness and are looking for surveillance video to identify the driver. They do not currently have a description of the suspect or the vehicle.
