Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills juvenile on TX 6 N in Navasota
NAVASOTA, TX – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a juvenile on the 9000 block of TX 6 N on Monday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
A driver was heading north when they hit the victim as he was walking east to west outside a marked crosswalk around 11:47 p.m.
Following the collision, the driver fled the scene.
Rescue crews transported the victim to HCS Houston Healthcare Northwest Cypress. He was later taken to Texas Children’s Hospital, where he died at 5:58 a.m.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
