HPD investigates fatal crash on Cosby St in Houston’s South Side
HOUSTON, TX — A single-vehicle wreck early Monday in Houston’s South Side neighborhood claimed the life of a 37-year-old woman, according to the Houston Police Department.
The accident happened on the 4300 block of Cosby Street at around 4:40 a.m.
Preliminary details indicate the woman was operating a maroon GMC Denali westbound when, for reasons still being investigated, the vehicle ran off the roadway and entered a ditch.
Responding paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
No other information has been made available, and authorities indicated that no known witnesses have come forward.
