HPD responds to hit-and-run crash at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital

HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday morning outside Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in southeast Houston, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.

The incident was reported in the 11800 block of Astoria Boulevard, at the intersection with Southeast Memorial Hospital on Drive. Houston Police Department officers were called to the scene at about 10:47 a.m.

Little information has been made available, but dispatchers described the event as a “major” crash involving at least one driver who failed to stop and render aid (“FSRA”).

At this time, the department has not disclosed the conditions of those involved.

A description of the fleeing vehicle and/or hit-and-run suspect has not been released.
