HPD responds to hit-and-run on Winkler Dr in SE Houston
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — Authorities were called to a hit-and-run collision Monday morning on Winkler Drive in southeast Houston, according to the active incidents page updated by the City of Houston.
The crash happened in the 8900 block of the road at the intersection with Santa Cecilia Lane. Houston Police Department officers were called to the scene at about 10:06 a.m.
Very few details have been provided at this time, but emergency dispatchers listed the incident as a “major” crash. At least one party failed to stop and render aid (“FSRA”), indicating potential injuries.
At this time, the department has not released a description of a suspect and/or fleeing vehicle.
