HPD searching for suspect in hit-and-run on I-45
HOUSTON, TX – Police in Houston are searching for the driver responsable for a hit-and-run on I-45 last month that left a man critically injured.
According to the HPD, 30-year-old Julio Torres, Jr. was struck at about 11:40 p.m. on April 2nd while walking on the northbound service road near Easton Street when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
Torres was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident left the scene without providing assistance, and no description of the suspect is currently available. Authorities believe the wanted vehicle to be either an SUV or a truck, with the specific make and model remaining unknown.
